We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Group Head, Internal Audit and Control
Location: Lagos
Description
The position require professionals possessing negotiation and collaboration skills needed to deliver exceptional service to our partners and inspire a team of people across companies in the group.
Summary
We are looking for an objective Group Head, Internal Audit to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.
Responsibilities
Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations; determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans; identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings; document process and prepare auditfindings memorandum; conductfollow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
Requirements
B.Sc degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualification of ICAN, with not less than 10 years post qualification experience
Proven working experience in a similar role in a conglomerate with advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases; proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations; high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills; sound independent judgement
Must not be more than 45 years of age by December this year
