Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the HP Inc. Africa team either in Morocco, Tunisia or South Africa, who has a good business sense and a strong background in analytics, automation and information systems.
You will work with our Africa Omni-Channel sales management team to provide business analysis, reports as well as drive reporting automation. You will have a direct reporting line to the Africa Omni-Channel Sales Manager.
What you bring to the job:
A person with thorough understanding of finance fundamentals to be able to work with business planning, strong analytical and modeling skills in complex business environments with a lot of data.
You will be the expert on the reporting tools and systems. The work is independently to construct statistical and financial models to forecast business performance.
In order to present the information, you have the ability to adjust your communication to the audience. The work requires collaboration with people from different organizations and countries.
It is positive if you have experience with or understanding of sales environment with possibilities to grow into a business development / sales roles down the line.
Responsibilities
Supports data and business analyses to develop business plans.
Supports the development of statistical and financial models for forecasting and reporting.
Measures business performance and compares actual data to forecasted values.
Executes market research projects and gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, and consumer trends.
Works with cross-functional teams to support the data collection process.
Supports the execution of priority projects with direction.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Basic knowledge of research methodology.
Demonstrated analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques.
Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
Familiar with information systems and databases (design, implementation & use)
Developing business acumen.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills. French is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of project management methodology.
Pay strict attention to details, and the 100% accuracy of deliverables
Capacity to interact in a sensitive, high level, multicultural environment
High level of reactivity / creativity / high level of autonomy.
